Cleaning for Cancer is a free web directory of services and resources for people that are critically ill or are caring for someone who is critically ill.

This website was inspired by

-Cleaning companies at Global Cleaning Association who wanted to offer free cleaning to cancer patients without paying membership fees to an organization or foundation to do so.  Two women who are members of the association expressed an interest in starting their own program and we assisted them with setting up the program on their cleaning company websites.

-Veronica Caley, our 10 year old daughter who was diagnosed May 29, 2001 with a Pediatric Brain Tumor.

Since she was four years old Veronica has expressed a desire to find a way to bring cheer or comfort to people who are hospitalized or critically ill just as so many volunteers and children's hospital staff brought cheer to her during her recovery and rehabilitation.  While she was hospitalized more than an hour away from home our family received incredible support from family and people in our community.  We realize not everyone who is critically ill or has a hospitalized child has the benefit of the incredible support system we did.

Why are we doing all of this free? 

The theme of CleaningForCancer.com is Reaching Out.  There are so many people out there who could use a little help as they get thru their illness or help some one else recover and there are so many contractors and local services who have a desire to help.

We stand behind our daughter's desire to give back and we have been inspired by two women whom we were honored to assist in setting up free cleaning programs that we not limited to a specific illness or condition.
